Temperature fluctuations can lead to stress and mortality in corals, making insulation a critical factor in our shipping process.Inside the box we us bubble wrap as an additional layer of cushioning that absorbs shocks and impacts that may occur during shipping. The bubble wrap also acts as an extra layer of insulation to further stabilize temps during shipping. 

In addition to insulated boxes, we implement in-bag coral protection as needed. Each coral is carefully packaged in a secure bag(s) or containers that minimizes movement and potential damage during transit. This helps protect fragile corals from breaking during transit.

Depending on the season and the destination, we include heat packs or cold packs as needed. Heat packs are used during colder months to help prevent freezing while cold packs are used in warmer conditions to avoid overheating. This dual approach helps ensures that the corals remain within their optimal temperature range and adds a safety net in the event of a delay. 

Finally, we utilize UPS Next Day Air for our shipping needs. This expedited service mean that our corals arrive at their destination within 24 hours, significantly reducing the time they spend in transit. Minimizing shipping time is crucial for maintaining coral health, as prolonged exposure to suboptimal conditions can lead to increased mortality rates.
