Calcium and Alkalinity are by far the most important two elements in your reef to keep an eye on when it comes to coral growth.

Calcium is what helps build the structure of all stony corals such as SPS and LPS, while alkalinity is what helps maintain and stabilize PH in the water while also providing carbonate and bicarbonate to your corals to keep them happy and growing!

Testing these elements are essential to knowing how much to dose. GHI Corals keeps our systems at 460-470ppm for CAL and 9-9.5 DKH for ALK.
